Thais is an actor, dancer, singer and writer originally from Trinidad and Tobago. She is an alumna of the Tisch School of the Arts, at New York University where she studied Drama. As an actor, she has toured in theater both nationally and internationally. Her work has been seen at the Historic Warner Theater in Washington DC and Radio City Music Hall in New York City. She was honored by the Root Magazine as one of the 25 under 25 Top Innovators in America. Her academic and fictional writings have been used in college curriculums, presented before the staff of the White House and awarded by the Congressional Black Caucus. Her original play OUTCRY based on the lives of Trayvon Martin and Emmett Till has been produced throughout the U.S and featured in American Theater Magazine. Her film Late Expectations has screened in festivals across the US and in Africa and won the “Discover Award” at ESSENCE’s Black Women in Hollywood Short Film Contest. She is currently pursuing an acting career in Los Angeles.
